This week Luca and I are separated from Fabien as he went back to Montreal to work. Luca and I will return this Saturday. Luca's crawling skills are developing each day. It's amazing watching the progress. We've been working in rolling over a lot and he's progressing a lot in that. He can roll from front to back if he really wants to (but he usually doesn't want to) and one time he rolled from back to front which is the hard way.

Luca's third tooth is on the way. It's hard to tell if it's really through yet, but I bet it'll break through tomorrow. Luca's a little on the fussy side which I think is the tooth, but he's so easy, I can't complain.

In this video you can see the great Canadian Snowbirds who are a group of 9 extremely experienced fighter pilots who do tricks in their planes. In my family, they are pretty exciting. We NEVER miss an opportunity to see them. With all the fires in B.C. right now, there is a lot of smoke in the valley, too much for the Snowbirds to do most of their tricks. The formation flying was still very impressive. Then, there's a bit with Luca's cousin, Piper, who will be year old on August 25th. They had a good time together and Luca really watched her crawl. I think he learns by example. Piper's die-hard cute. Finally, the old put-the-baby-in-a-box trick with my brother Jesse's girlfriend Chani.
