Thursday, Jan 8th, day 2

I remember starting to feel the fatigue on this day! Luca was becoming a pro at filling diapers which we were happy with as it's a sign of good feedings and good digestion. In the morning he had to recieve a heel stick test (they poke his heel with a little needle and draw blood for tests). They sent a totally inexperienced idiot who had to poke Luca twice (should only be once) and still only got 20% of the blood needed. Finally he left and a woman nurse came in and got it done in no time. It was the only negative experience we had at the hospital. Just after lunch we were able to leave which involved dressing Luca for the first time! I felt so unco-ordinated! Finally we got him into his massive snowsuit and hit the road. I buzzed around the house all afternoon with an adrenaline fueled desire to clean everything and do a billion loads of laundry! By the evening I had worn myself down to a little nub! My milk had started to come in the day before and was now really really IN!!! I felt like I could give Pamela Anderson a run for her money!
